Missing: Josh BecKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKett

*art provided by Chris Speakman and can be found here at his link

HAS ANYONE SEEN THE GUY ABOVE? WOULD YOU PLEASE HAVE HIM REPORT TO THE FENWAY CLUBHOUSE? IMMEDIATELY!!!!!

So lately Beckett hasn't been performing quite like the ACE we know and love. Not that we do not love our boy...but he is just getting banged around like a pinball machine. Boston Globe has article on Beckett after the game

"Asked if he was searching, he sounded like a man who was tired of looking for the answer.

“I don’t know about searching,’’ Beckett said. “I’m tired of stinking. That’s for sure. But I don’t think searching’s the right thing. I’m continuing to do the same things I do every time out and every time in between starts and right now the results [stink].’"

I think we ALL know that the word 'stink' was enclosed cos they really couldn't print what Beckett actually said...heck...I can't even print what JPB said. But we all know that he has to stop STINKING and show some of that AWESOMENESS such as these:

I'm not giving up on Beckett and neither should YOU!

YOUuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuK!!

LOVING THIS PICTURE!! Perhaps the Yankees knocked us around abit on Friday with that 20-11 score....but Last NIGHT??? Our newest pitcher from across the sea and latest "TAZ" kept the Yankees scoreless!!! It wasn't until Bard came up that Swisher hit a solo homerun off him...

14-1 End of subject

Nothing Lucky about it. The Sox Rock

Shortly after this the scoreboard blew up with runs for the Red Sox. Coincidence? I think not. After the runs started coming I was bouncing around hugging and high fiving everyone...then my phone blew up with texts saying I was on NESN. SweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeT. I wore my Youk shirt from SG for good luck...Youk couldnt play cos of the suspension...but dangit...he HAD to be there. I'm no longer considered a jinx now.

Crazyyyyyyy, I'm Crazy for feeling so Lonely

The Sox are coming back to TEXAS!!!!!!!!!!!! YeeeeeeeeeHAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWW!!!!
And I say that with complete exuberance and passion of a Die-Hard Red Sox Fan whose a Die-Hard Loyal Texan. Last visit to Texas, the boys didn't fare well. Beckett, Smoltz and Buchholz got the broom...not for their lack of trying...but the bats, well let's just say, the bats were left in the clubhouse at Fenway. Disappointed some that I won't get to see my boy pitch again...I'll be watching a new trio: Lester, Penny and the new kid Tazawa. I'm definitely looking forward to it. Let's just say I'm abit:

But nonetheless, I'll be watching the boys with friends from the Red Sox Nation and the Governor of Texas, himself, Johnny Matthews. It's going to be one hell of a ride this weekend since we are 6 games back in the division with the Yankees.....AND we are 1/2 game ahead of the Rangers in the Wild Card!

Join me....in getting Insoxicated and Intoxicited about this weekend!!!!

Wanted: Bats that produce Runs

We can all of the above and below we want but if we do not have

some of these that produce runs.....

Patience (pā-shəns) is the state of endurance under difficult circumstances, which can mean persevering in the face of delay or provocation without becoming annoyed or upset; or exhibiting forbearance when under strain, especially when faced with longer-term difficulties.

Delayed gratification; Good things come to those that wait; Stick it out; Persevere; Determination; Persistence....

I understand all these concepts as I've worked hard all my life doing such things....being a single parent it took me a few more years to actually get my first degree...then waited till much later to obtain my second one. Working hard I finally attained a position in a company for which I am very proud to have.

A few years back the Red Sox finally after years of a drought won a World Series....a few more years and they won another so it's totally understandable that they hunger for more. But what we don't want to do is be like the NY fans and have that sense of entitlement that we SHOULD win a World Series...that it belongs to us and no one else. I want each and every time we win a World Series to really mean something....that we dug in hard and fast and earned it. It seems to me that when things come too easy for folks....it's not always appreciated.

SO I say all of this today because I want you Red Sox fans to hold on...be patient.

The Red Sox never do things easy for us. But just believe. Have faith. And wait.

Good things are coming your way.
